REVIEW:

Although a little slow at parts, Prince Of Persia is saved by its visual effects and riveting climax. Prince Of Persia is about Dastan, a prince who was adopted by the king of Persia off of the slums of the marketplace. 15 years later, Dastan finds a dagger that can turn back time with only the holder of the dagger aware of it. But Dastan's ruthul uncle Nizam wants to be king, and needs the dagger to do so. So now Dastan and Princess Tamina must return the dagger to its rightful place before Nizam desroys the entire face of humanity. This movie was very interesting to watch. Not in a bad way, but this wasn't as good as I anticipated it to be. I mean, the special effects were off the scale and the premise was solid, but the dialoge was a little bland and the story just went dry in the middle. But on the plus side, the actors knew what they were doing and did a good job along the way. I can't think of much else to say except that this is not as good as Pirates Of The Caribbean or The Chronicles Of Narnia series', but this is a whole lot more entertaining than Jerry Bruckheimer's 3D flick from last year, G-Force. So, if you're looking for some popcorn fun instead of Sex And The City 2 (which is probably going to make a crap load more than this,) then go and see Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time. But believe me, if you want to see a good summer movie, then check out either Iron Man 2 or Shrek Forever After (Shrek is in 3D if you have the $.)
